Hope Harvey
Office Manager/Veterinary Technician
Hi, my name is Hope, I am a office manager and veterinary technician here at the hospital. I grew up in a small country town, working in animal care fields starting from a young age. I am always surrounded by wildlife, living within a forest, and grew up with Rottweilers and fish in our family home; love for animals has never been hard for me. I always wanted to incorporate animals within my adult life as well, and to continue my growth and knowledge by providing the best quality care to all animals in any way I can. In the open spots of my busy schedule, I paint animals and landscapes for my online gallery, pursuing more creative endeavors.

Beverly
Veterinary Technician
Hi, my name is Beverly and I’m a veterinary technician at the clinic. While I’ve only recently been able to care for a pet all my own, I’ve always loved being around animals since I was a very small child, often running over to our across the street neighbors to hug their large german shepherd dog whenever I saw them outside. I’ve always just had an innate sense to help others, especially animals as they can’t communicate to us in a way that we can easily understand, like other people. Being able to work in the veterinary medicine field is a very fulfilling blessing as it allows me to combine both my love for animals and my innate sense to help others.
Currently at home, I have only 1 cat that by fate found me while I was going through the vet tech program at Seneca College. I love him with my entire being and he has my entire heart and then some.
Outside of work, I am a huge gamer and am often deeply immersed in any number of games that span the entire range of genres from mmorpgs to fps to roguelites. If I’m not gaming, I am often researching and trying to source parts for my project car.

Cassie Somers
Veterinary Assistant
Hi, my name is Cassie Somers. I am a Veterinary assistant here at Vista Park Animal Hospital, I grew up in a small town on some property. Working in the animal care field has always been something I have wanted to do since I was little.
My love for animals has always been a big part of me and now I am living my childhood dream and pursuing my veterinary career here at VPAH. I’ve grown up with many dogs in my family, 1 of them being my own dog Skylar that I adopted in 2021. Ever since I adopted Skylar, I knew I wanted to incorporate animals into my adult life.
I hope to keep pursuing my veterinary career to improve my skills and pursue further in this field. In my free time outside of work, I race professional women's motocross and love to spend time camping with my family or taking my dog Skylar on trails walks in the forest.

Ruby
Veterinary Assistant
Hi, my name is Ruby, and I am a veterinary assistant here at the hospital. I’ve grown up around animals my whole life, from family pets to spending my youth caring for a variety of farm animals. Those experiences inspired my passion for helping animals every day.
At home, I share my life with 5 cats: Teo, Frank, Nala, Tempy and Beans, as well as one dog: Poppy. Each one has their own personality and reminds me daily why I love the work that I do.
Outside of the clinic, I enjoy creating art and listening to music, both of which bring balance and creativity into my life. I’m grateful to be part of a team that helps animals feel safe and cared for, and I hope to continue learning and growing in this field!
